It was one of those warm days when you just want to relax and enjoy the outdoors. I had grabbed/taken/pulled my beach bag/cooler/backpack and headed out to the beach/the park/a picnic. Little did I know, a real disaster/problem/mess was about to unfold. As I arrived at my destination/parking spot/car, I reached for/fumbled with/grabbed at my keys, but they were nowhere to be found/had vanished/disappeared completely. Panic started to set in/washed over me/hit like a ton of bricks. I had trapped/locked/stuck myself out of my car with my keys inside/phone and wallet/lunch.
